Of all the friends I’ve come to know
The gals and all the guys
Dear Linus was the very best-
Experienced and wise

He offered little, face to face
As he looked down at the ground
Please tell me friend, of Egypts Nile!
And the wonders you have found!

“T—ttt” was all he had to say
“T-ttt” was his reply
For Linus had a stutter great
And thence, this made him shy

There was a time that I recall
He’d met a worldly star
As we gathered around him
At a Droverville town bar

Tell us Linus! Tell us now!
Whats he really like?
Did he sweep into the room?
Did he ride a motor bike?

Linus sat in retrospect
I knew his mind was churning
At last he stood (and that was good
For our questions, they were burning!)

"Ch Ch Ch Br" Linus began
Then "Gu Gu Gu Gu IK"
Continued… "Bes Bes Ju-Ju Nok"
And "Ba-Ba-Bar-Bar Click!"

We felt confused, betrayed, perplexed
What was this eerie code?
Did we need a puzzle ring
to continue down the answer road?

Tell us Damn you! Tell us now!
We soon were in a tizzy
I belive t'was Groopman hit him first
..then all of us were busy

And so you see Inspector
this is explains our little ruse
of how Linus was found in Droverville Lake
...wearing concrete shoes...

This is superb (or slightly better than that)

Sorry I didn’t reply sooner but it took me so long to stop laughing.
