Hi! Any chance you could create a "humour" or "light" forum? Thats my 'specialty' and I don't like to take away from the great work of many in the "Open" forum by posting poems about grapefruit invasions next to a tribute to someones Dad... Any chance? So...maybe it's not up to me to add my two cents worth once again (okay, so the simple truth is I just can't shut up sometimes)...a light forum would be terrific, but I also think that one of the most wonderful things about Open Poetry is the mixed canvas we all share. We cry one moment and laugh the next...By the way...Grapefruit???Please do post...I am sooo curious now!! ------------------ Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |

I disagree....open forum means open...I don't mind laughing at one poem then crying at another right after it... |

See Poet...we all too often agree...I think if we segregated our work...well then we would close the doors on so many wonderful pieces that might have passed us by...just by being posted in a forum we didn't visit. Besides, the woman I am...my moods change from moment to moment anyway, so why should what I read be any different!! ------------------ Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |
