I'm tired of hurting and tired of life, I'm tired of loneliness and rage. I'm tired of waiting in this little cage, sometimes I long for a random knife
In the dark to carve out this broken heart.

I'm tired of courtesy and being polite, only to have my efforts dogged, I should return to the night. That lover's embrace and every caress, heals and conceals with every breath. I'm tired of doing what's right.

I'm tired of waiting for the dawn to come, tired of waiting for a lover's embrace. I'm tired of fighting, I wish my heart was numb. I'm tired of waking and seeing this face.

I'm tired of pain obvious in every refrain, I'm tired of waiting to die. I'm tired of spite and blinding light, and no one to wipe away my tears when I cry.

I'm saddened and maddened by bewildering unconcern. I'm tired of trying to live and learn, I'm tired of standing idly by while others watch my soul burn, roasting marshmallows at every turn.

I'm so very tired, I feel less than inspired

i like tis poem the way you write it you seem less than inspired paragraph by paragraph then you shout to me that you are so uninspired. The paragraphs to me were thus so ingenious to the rhyme scheme therein.

Thank you, nice to know I'm not alone. Pain is inspiration, just like suffering. I'll probably go on a writing binge soon.

It gives me mixed emotions to know you are about to embark on a "binge". Joy for I love reading your work, and sorrow to know the source of such greatness is often pain. I feel for you, my outlet in life is also in the words I write. Know that you are not alone.

Be impolite all you want....this is not uninspired! It's wrenching and sad and very good....

Thank you again, Poet deVine, perhaps I shall find the time to put to rhyme, the depth of my...regard for your praise.
