Twice a day
With a glass of water
I take hold of a purple pill
I swallow it hard
With no disregard
If it is to be God's will

I've made my peace
With the purple pill
Even call it purple passion
To cure this bug
This designer drug
I would say is all the fashion

My doctor said
My brains unsteady
My wiring has all been tangled
Always been a man
Who can’t understand?
An idea that’s so newfangled

They say I can sleep
But if I’m disturbed
It will disturb me even still
My soul my heart
They are all apart
Of what's in this purple pill

Bundled up wires
In a misfiring head
I know that my God understands
Intangible things
What happiness brings
Are a prescription in my hands

And I guess I make 4! These words go through my mind each day...

For Myself, I live,
Live intensely and am fed by life,
and my value, whatever it be, is in my own kind of expression of that. *Henry James

Is that Wellbutrin? Just curious.... the doctor gave me that to help me stop smoking.... same thing as Zyban.... looks like a purple pill with a smiley face on it. It didn't work for the smoking, but made me feel better about it. hehehe Cute poem.

Well, I don't take the purple pills....but I still enjoyed the poem. Oh, and what's that saying? .....I'm all right, it's just the world's all wrong! Yep, I think that's true too....LOL
