I retake my day
of white flowing over green carpets at the horizon
of autolies that stem from my mouth
fouling all that im supposed to be
of laying with the light and making love to the sun
of trying to conceive reality in two seconds
then spit venom at my joy.

Of fighting my way through feelings
loving them
hating them
of urging myself to be complex
to be simple.

of smiling at life
enjoy every breath
then collapsing to strife
embracing my death

of remembering your breath
forgetting your voice
fly from flower to flower
then crawl on old horse dung

Intense feelings for strangers ,but then
xenophobia crawling up my brain
today Ill love
and hate
battle within

Ixtab

greetings from the 13th heaven
