Untitled Its hard for me to swallow I cant seem to get a breath My cheast is slowing caving in This must be my untimely death I think of you more and more The way you talk, you laugh, you sing I think of how I need you here I think of everything This is all so crazy Too sudden, too rash, too scary You think of me as just a friend I think of you quite the contrary My fondess for you is based on what? Not your eyes, your walk, your hair I relish the way my heart beats fast Just knowing that you're there By now you're feeling flattered Feeling a little sad for me too You know you don't feel the same You don't love me, like I do you. ------------------ Kitty Kat "This kitty has claws" |

Thanks for the positive response. This was the first poem I ever wrote. I wrote this one night when I was really frustrated with my best guy friend. He has a girlfriend, but when I'm with him it seems like just us... like he likes me too... and then just when we both get really close to admitting it one of us changes the subject.. usually him. :-) Ah well... we've all been there...
