He sits in silence on a deaf ear, as they
yelled the last call, he did not hear
Last call, last call, for Alcohol

The clock did move quickly, as he stood trapped in time
A time of forgiving, a time left behind
A time worth living, when life was kind

He traced out her image, so it was clear in his mind
Again they were loving , as they did long ago
The granting of wishes, and making them so With out her he lingers in dark dismal space

A beauty well spoken, with style and grace
The smile that she cast him, could melt mountains of snow
A rare treasured beauty, a true work of art
Stealing the souls of the coldest of hearts
But like grains in the hour glass, out she ran
And only left standing, the shell of a man

Last call for Alcohol, this time he heard
He looks in his glass as the ice slowly melts
And knows that he sat, feeling sorry for him self

In discus and anger he takes that last belt
As he heads out the door to be by himself
Last call, last call, he hears as he leaves
In her pocket his heart rest, yet he bares
on his sleeve
