you say you want to be free
free from what?from me?
how can you even say that?
i gave you everything
from you i took nothing
for you i wanted to be the best
i always tried and never took a rest.
yet now you say you want to be free
from my love ,from me
you said my love was like a chain so strong
so i guess there must be something wrong
for how could love be too strong?
how could love last too long?
but since the words have been spoken
and my heart has been broken
and although you always had the key
i'm going to set you free
but don't come back to me
when you're alone, free
from my love ,from me.
