The sun rises on the horizon, beginning another day of never ending love I look to the west and see her eyes in the dark blue sky, the stars twinkle like her eyes every where I turn to the east and see her hair in the glowing sun, warming me from within I see her face in the clouds, smiling at me where ever I go A wind blows across my shoulders, and it is like her breath on my neck When it rains I imagine it is her tears falling on me, tears of joy that will never end At night she is always there, her voice calls to me from every where We are always together in my dreams, two lovers locked in a never ending embrace She kisses me and it is like the sweetest chocolate, a taste that stays with me forever Her embrace warms me like the hottest of fires, I am never cold with her near She smiles and my heart is sent flying across the sky, a flight of never ending happiness I sit outside on a cold winters night, the snow is falling from the sky A coat of white covers everything, the earth kept warm under this blanket of white I reach out and catch some snow, I look and marvel at its beauty The snow is unique and wondrous, its quiet beauty sparkles in front of me It is like holding her in my hand, her essence in front of me After a while I start to realize where she came from, the answer in my hand She has fallen from heaven into my arms, a gift from above, my own personal snowflake. - Enrique |
