My lips quiver when I speak
Oh my sweet love, I whisper
With aching heart and reddened eyes
I ask you sweet love, Why?

You live with a tarnished love
Tainted by, love you hate you scernios
Walking the tight rope sometimes breaks
You stand in line for easy heartaches

Every part of me has loved you
So tenderly and honestly I gave
Soulmates we were, you and I
So I ask you again, Why?

To share your life with happiness
Where no other love can compare
In you arms I am every night
Why not me to hold so tight

Why live in the shadows of love
When loves rays can shine on you
Only I can set you soul on fire
Listen to your heart of desire
