Is it awful to believe in
Something that causes you pain?
Yesterday or today just the same.

Blinded by rose colored dreams
Of romance and passion you feel,
Symbols of love and faith thats real.

A couple entwined in a love,
That is forever shifting to accept,
The movements of the other with respect.

Love is blind, the heart of deceit,
For the truth be known in my eyes,
Inside the pain with which I cry.

Shake the hand of a brand new fool
How can i believe? Beating myself for spite,
Fool I say, on my heart I write.
