__________________________________________

Yesterday she heard his news,
and learned the past, she could not undo.
He told her that he was leaving
and not knowing what to do, she just thought about all the past memories of how
Yesterday they laughed and played,
she will never forget his gentle, teasing ways.
and how Yesterday he made her smile
he made everything seem alright for a while.
also how Yesterday she cried almost all day,
and he did his best to make her tears fade.
But her tears from today may never go away
For he has left her for another place,
and she realized how she felt about him,
one day too late.
If given now, one more day
maybe she could say
the things she never got the chance to say.
So, now that its tomorrow,
the past is really all she has
and when she thinks of him,
all she does is seem to get mad.
For he left without a simple notation of good-bye.
and she is left here, with no one by her side.
She will always cherish yesterdays,
she will never forget his gentle teasing ways
She will always say what she needs to be said today,
before the chance passes her by again.
and she will always hope for tomorrows
as a chance to see him again.
