Old Rusty Wrought Iron Park Bench

Lost, red-eyed, and vastly sad,
his heart stops pumping
for a beat or two.
You find him sitting
on this old, rusty
wrought iron park bench,
where years of travelers
have come to rest.
Waterfall of tears
cascading down his tired face.
You look at him
through his drenched red-eyes,
and offer him your strong,
many times cried on shoulder
to lean on.
He begins his story
about a once in a lifetime love
taken away
by forces beyond his control.
He focused on all the splendid
adventure laden walks
they took together,
conquering their souls envy,
as they cherished precious
minutes, hours, and days
alone in their wilderness of dreams.
With tears once again cascading
down his tired face,
he explains why he's planted
upon this old, rusty
wrought iron park bench.
She's been stripped from my life now,
and all I do is walk
many a lonely miles
reminiscing about her beauty,
and intelligence every step of the way.
When I saw this old rusty
wrought iron park bench
it flooded my mind
with boundless memories
of the first time
I saw her face
with sadness and tears,
and I also lent my shoulder
as kindly as you.

Spplendidly done. The poem is a circle completing a full cycle. Very clever, Dreamer.
