WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Black, white, rich, poor, Christian and Jew
IN ORDER TO FORM A MORE PERFECT UNION
We band together to pursue
INSURE DOMESTIC TRANQUILITY, PROVIDE FOR THE COMMON DEFENCE
A better life; our lives we'll give
PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE AND SECURE THE BLESSINGS OF LIBERTY TO OURSELVES AND OUR POSTERITY
So that our children in freedom live,
DO ORDAIN AND ESTABLISH THIS CONSTITUTION
We stand united for all to see
FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Our dear country, sweet land of liberty.
