I never got to say goodbye and the thought of this brings tears to my eyes.Did you even know what a joy you brought to my life?These tears for you I do cry for though I know you were taken I will never understand why.I wish I could tell you how much I care,I wish i could turn and find you standing there.As time goes by and days pass away the hurt and pain are as real as that very first day I was told you went away.Though I never got to say goodbye just know that I remember you in my heart and you will always be a part of my life. _______ I wrote this to my Aunt Sammy who was killed in a car accident awhile back. Your poem is so true. We never get to say good bye. Thanks made the memories of my cousin a little easier. She died of an asthma attack, I never got to tell her how much I loved and respected her. |

Well I am glad you liked it I am kinda new at poetry so I tried my best and hoped it wasn't bad.It came from the heart.I wanted to share it with somebody and I was reading some of the poems on here and thought they were good so I gave it a shot.I am nothing compared to a lot of you guys,you're all awesome poets and have great talent. |
