The sun has risen... It's another new day. I should be happy and maybe I will be. First, Give me a chance to test out the water. I skim my toes through the ice cold water. I say, "Good morning." "Mornin'", he says back. "WOW, a reation", I think to myself... "Too early for Sports Center, I suppose". I'm afraid to say too much. I know the waves are near, And if I let them come too close -- They will crash right over me. I decide to keep quiet ... Go my own way ... I'm tired of this lonely feeling, BUT, My day could be worse. ------------------ Susan C. |
