The Clock is ticking,
Half past twelve,
A decision is left to be made.

Louis Riel must die
For his acts,
Or we all will rot with sin.

Treason was
The crime Accused,
Guilty he must be found.

The Metis find him
Innocent,
This evidence bares no ground.

He shot an innocent man,
And treasoned against
His country

For that he must die,
And forever rot in hell,
Or forever his consience be still.

Ticking Ticking
The clock strikes one,
The Jury comes about.

We find the defendant
Guilty as charged,
Death is what you'll get.

Louis Riel was hung at noon,
And still hangs to this day,
As the man who fought for his people,

A hero to his name
