You said you'd always be there for me, You said you'd never lie. You said that we'll be together forever, Now all I do is cry. My heart is full of empty promises, My tears full of sadness and pain. I think, why did you have to lie to me, As I sit and watch the rain. You cheated me out of 2 years of my life, I can't believe you'd hurt me like this. Taking my heart for granted, All those meaningless kisses. I can't believe it's over so quickly, I thought you loved me so much. But all I can see it lies and deciet, My broken heart lay crushed. The words I love you, meant nothing, Those kind words I could never get enough. But now they all seem empty, Too many lies, not enough love. ------------------ ~*JuLiEt*~ |
