Kissing You

When our love was starting, at the very first
To kiss you made my heart burst
The passion there was so intense
My feelings so deep, so immense

Then love began to feel secure
And kissing you felt so pure
The touch of your lips gentle on mine
Felt so warm, so wonderful, so fine

When love was tested and we would fight
The make up kiss felt so right
The closeness of you made my heart ache
Knowing without you my heart would break

When love was put into vow
The kiss we shared said we’re together now
Forever joined for all to see
Linked in love eternally

The love blossomed through the years
The kisses dried so many tears
Heartache and heartbreak for all we shared
It showed how much we always cared

Our love is no longer new I fear
So let me kiss you now my dear
Wow…this is just like the first
Kissing you still makes my heart burst!
