Forget his name, Forget his face, Forget his kiss and sweet embrace, Forget how that all once was true, Remember now there is someone new. Forget the love that you once shared, Forget the fact that he actually cared, Forget the time you spent together, Remember now he is gone forever. Forget you cried the whole night long, Forget him when they play your song, Forget how close you both once were, Remember now he has chosen her. Forget you memorized his walk, Forget the way he used to talk, Forget the times he made you mad, Remember now..... he is happy now not sad. Forget the times you talked on the phone, Forget the day that he left you all alone, Forget he made your dreams come true, Remember now there is someone new. Forget his gentle teasing way, Forget you saw him every day, Forget the chills when he walked by, Forget the times when you watched the night sky, Forget the way he spoke your name, Remember now things are not the same. Forget the way he held your hand, Forget the sweet things if you can, Forget the way he loved you too, Remember now there is nothing to do. Forget the pictures you used to take, Forget the funny sounds he used to make, Forget the times he sat and played the guitar, Forget he would never leave your side by too far, Forget he said he would never leave you, Remember when he said that’s it we are through. Forget him..... no I can’t, I can’t, Forget him..... never no I shant, Forget that I love him still, No no I never will. |
