Wind, blow across the ocean
Fly swiftly over land
And take for me this message
I know she'll understand

A message for my true love
Reminding her I care
And though my body's absent
My thoughts are always there

If you cannot find her
Ask your friend the sun
Say that you are seeking
The other half of one

When you find my darling
Blow a kiss from me
And tell her once the waiting's through
We'll be forever free

Remind her of a pledge we made
A pledge I still hold dear
A promise that will matter
For all time and a year

And tell her we're together
Even when apart
For at the beach in February
We joined souls and hearts

Nicely done. I particularly enjoyed the third stanza.

Sigh...How wonderful this message, I hope it reaches her and touches her heart as deeply as it touched mine!

I love this! It is simple, yet eloquent. Really speaks to the heart.

Yet another reason to look through the archives and find what's been buried there...Hope she liked this one, Eric!
