I poured my heart out to you and don't know why
And then you turned around and casually said goodbye
Never again will I do this to anyone I casually meet
It was like I became an animal coming in heat!

The tears rolled down my cheeks in streams
For once in my life I had beautiful somber dreams
To think and believe someone really cared for me
And yet after all was over you turned around to flee

I scared you perhaps or made you laugh to think
That suddenly I had come on to you in a quick blink
But everything that was said totally to you was true
This was something I experienced and never ever did before too!

You brought out the inner heart of mine
So maybe I can say "okay it's fine"
But sadness has overcome my beating heart
Just remember you and you alone were part

Of my dreams and wishes to be loved by one
To feel the heat like the day's sun
So sorry I confessed my wants and needs
Like grass overgrown with so many weeds

But today is new and my life will again start
Even though you will not be simply a part

My rambling on about that evening what was spoken
