My first post here was a response to Christina Myers "Birthday in Sedona"... reported to me by Nimrod the Hunter, I decided to join netpoets... and while writing my reply, My eyes were almost tearing, taking a trip down memory lane...

----------
Seven years gone by,
As I close my eyes,
and my mind flies back,
The first day I arrived,
Leo sitting on the fence,
Andee chatting on the meadow,
Welcoming me in with an open heart,
Five years later, I was striken with news,
And for the first time in ages,
And yet to happen again,
Tears streamed down my face,
For Leo and his wife to be,
The beautiful Andee,
Rammed to death by a driver drunken,
The day before I was to see them again,
In Sedona where the red rocks lie,
In Sedona where their spirits fly.
Seven years of memory do float by,

------
*sniff*... Thanks for listening to my minds ramble down memory lane...

I especially like the last 3 lines, Insanity. Very moving...very peaceful even.

Thanks you guys...
I like this place already, a big chance to open my heart ;-)

Memories are precious,
Priceless, cannot be bought,
Yet they exist in abdundance,
Those we have and those yet to be found,
So abdundant, yet I value it,
more than Gold...

Life is a struggle for humans to make more foolproof stuff, and for the universe to make more complete fools. I'm here, so the Universe won!
