I watch the traffic go by
As the thoughts clutter my mind;
All I can think of is you, and
I want to leave your ghost behind.

You're haunting my days,
keeping me awake every night;
I lay entwined in the darkness,
With your image burning bright...

Burning right
Through me, into my dreams;
Dreams become nightmares,
And I'm searching for the seams--

But there are none,
Nothing to pull this mess together;
I don't know where I stand
In this crazy world of nether.

Your ghost has possessed my emotions,
I only want control over my heart;
This is a crazy game,
We both know we're meant to part.

We aren't meant to be together,
I wonder why you're so insane?
Thought I was the only one who'd lose my
mind,
'Cause I'm so used to the pain...

You weren't supposed to fall the way you did,
Aren't you the rational one?
Hey, you left your ghost behind,
And I can't sleep
In this shadow of the sun.

I thought all poets had lost half their minds

Get an umbrella or something... soon enough it's going to rain.

I think most of us have been burned by that very same darkness. Very nice work.

WOW, this can apply to so many different situations: Lost of a loved one, a broken relationship. . . This truly shows the emotions and how we try to run away from the shadow of the sun! Read the quote to follow!
