For those of you who've sold your soul for sex and sin and rock and roll, each verse I pen I write for you. Heed my words for they are true.

For those of us who have lost our life, our love, our hope, our soul, only in dreams and memories can we once again be whole.

For those of us who say, "It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.", I cry, "It is better to have never loved at all than to have loved and watched it die!"

While in Evil's embrace, you are never alone, though within you beats a heart of stone. Evil protects it's own, surrounding you with warmth and understanding. For those who hurt you, Evil's vengeance is demanding.

If you turn from Evil you are truly alone, no one will lend a hand.
Upon your own you will learn to stand.

Patience is a virtue, but virtue has never been one of my redeeming qualities.

This poem says so much, it's painfully true, I especially like the part

For those of us who say, "It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.", I cry, "It is better to have never loved at all than to have loved and watched it die!"

Thank you, Raven. This piece is painfully poignant for me.
