*I seek his love yet he knows it not. Am I so confusing that I lead him further away from the fruit that holds my nectar? Wishes, dreams, all fall upon the night as I lie naked to the sound of earthly beings. Hold steady, speak not--for words are nonexistant in this land of complete companionship. His eyes call to me as I am swept away by his heart. Bury me in this thicket of uncontrollable feeling. Forever will my heart beat and no more will it long to love you.*

OUTSTANDING use of imagery!!!! I especially like the line of "bury me in this thicket of uncontrollable feeling".

That is a great line. Keep up the great work.

Thanks jfreak. This poem was hard for me to write as I thought about all I wanted from the person I love and all I would have to give in return. It speaks from a heart broken one to many times.

I agree...there is GREAT imagery here!!!
This poem also reminds me of my lost love...I SHOULD hate you for it...but I don't

absolutely beautiful...every line...i especially love "his eyes call to me as i am swept away by his heart"...
