through the windows of time
across the bridges of space
over the emptiness of mind
around the boundries of race
under the vastness of soul
below the fullness of heart
rivers of truth
flowing worlds apart
seperated by lies
joined by fear
lives intertwined
through falling tears
madman lives freely
insanity thrives
justice is blinded
while a mother cries
child killing child
no right or wrong
teeth tearing flesh
a bitter song
black and white
no color seen
death runs rampant
who planted the seed
dying's become
only escape
no longer left
to hands of fate
youth wait in line for their turn to die
going through motions not asking why...

alone

------------------
does anybody know
does anybody care
what are the words
we're attempting to share

Chris, this is one powerful piece of poetry.
I wish none of what you said were true but unfortunantly "ALL" of it is.
Well written!

This poem made me feel like I was tumbling into a dark hole! Great job! I really liked it.
