Trapped in a world of confusion Lost in lifes illusion Image controlling my mind Kept in this room inside Dreams of life and death Awaiting a final breath Restless emotions prevail Resisting brought little avail Losing myself to feelings within Open my heart, the battle begins Heart and mind the battle field Pure emotions no sword and shield Fighting for dreams dying for truth All of the nightmares remembered from youth Falling into self destruction Victim of soul eruption War to end all wars Devastation for ever more Fallen to the anger within Never to rise again Ear piercing screams of pain Drowned out by pouring rain Tears of suffering they'll never hear Released the torment of all the years Heart and mind the battle field Pure emotions no sword and shield Fighting for dreams dying for truth All of the nightmares remembered from youth ------------------ chris |
