If I could make a single wish
I know just what it'd be
I would not even have to think
My choice would be easy

There is but one thing that I want
For us to be together
If I had a second wish
I'd wish it was forever

If I found a magic djinn
Who granted wishes three
I'd turn back time to '79
And spend my life with thee

Sea,

I like it [good rhymes]..but i have a question...what is a 'djinn' in the last stanza? Is it a type or a real word?

Glad 79 was apparently a good year for u.

A djinn is a genie. I take you have not read the Arabian Knight stories eh?

"Three wishes are now granted you",
the magic djinn stated.
"Don't waste them, sir, on wine and song
or empty love, elated.
A wish for health, a wish for peace,
a wish for love that's true.
Please use your wishes wisely, sir,
that's what I wish for you."

Wonderful! I liked Doreen's reply, too.
