The bathroom is a good place For crying, for hiding, for locking yourself in When you're in the bathroom You are human Even the most important people in the world have to pee. Jesus did, too. In the bathroom, Nobody will disturb you For a while Boys smoke out in the bathroom Girls gossip about boys Some of your deepest secrets are trapped in there Never to leave the bathroom The few minutes you get to yourself Should give you time to relax And sort out your thoughts People use their bathroom breaks To escape from the routine day of life Whether it be a boring class Or a hard swim set at practice Or a really long meeting on a summer afternoon In the bathroom A girl discovers she's a woman A woman discovers she's a mother Somebody discovers themselves And who they really are After reflecting on the toilet for a couple of minutes Out of their everyday life Maybe everyone just needs to take more bathroom breaks Not to pee, But to take time out And reflect on life. |
