--- A Little More ---
*~*
My heart is broken, my spirit cries.
I only lived to see your eyes.
*~*
But now you've left, you've gone away.
I died a little more today.

---Go Gently---
*~*
Every day when I awake,
I make myself a vow.
To tear you from my tortured heart.
If only I knew how.
*~*
Clearly it is not a place
That you choose to be.
I feel it in your curt replies,
Each time you talk to me.
*~*
I promise I am trying
To loose you from my heart.
To weaken bonds that seemed
So strong from the very start.
*~*
Like the last, you wish to go,
Departure from my soul.
Be gentle, as you tear away,
Please leave a smaller hole.

You spread a lot of strong emotion on this page, my friend. The last stanza-magnificent. Keep it up.

--- Why Flowers Bloom So Well ---
*
A lady walked the river,
With anguish in her eyes.
"Why must I be lonely !?"
She wondered as she cried.
*
There was no revelation,
No lightning in the sky.
No whispers to her in the wind,
No explanations why.
*
Head held low, she wept
And went along her way.
The pups that she was walking,
Continued with their play.
*
Then on the trail ahead,
An older man appeared.
The loving, kindness in his eyes,
She saw as she drew near.
*
He smiled as he said "Hello",
And patted both the dogs.
He pointed to some flowers,
As they sat upon a log.
*
"Do you ever wonder,
Why flowers bloom so well ?
Listen very close my child,
Their secrets I will tell.
*
It's not within the flower.
It's not within the ground.
It's not within the water.
It's in your hearts, I've found.
*
You know that every flower
Requires special care.
You know that if you love them first,
Soon beauty will be there.
*
With each other, you're so different.
You want the beauty first.
Without it, you withhold your love,
Then ask me why you're cursed.
*
Now go my child, dry your eyes,
And find yourself a seed.
Find a man who's heart is kind,
Who yearns to fill your needs.
*
Find a seed that's in the dirt,
Tread upon so long.
Give him love and care, you'll see
I'm almost never wrong !"
*
He smiled as he held her hand,
And gave a kindly stare.
"Trust me child I'm always close,
I hear your every prayer."

The Lonely Stranger~
Such painful beauty and emotion is depicted through your writings. What a talent...thank you for sharing it. I will be watching for more...as I am sure many others will, also.
I was especially moved by Why Flowers Bloom So Well. Just touched me all the way to my inner soul...

--- Rays Of Love ---
*
Rays of golden, warming love bathe the human soul.
These are Heaven's vectors, that guide us toward our goals.
*
These rays of love give life, to all our hopes and dreams,
They give us mighty strength of heart, when all is lost, it seems.
*
They fuel the drive to lead good lives, they feed our will to live.
All men yearn to feel this warmth, but more, we yearn to give.
*
My love can burn more warm and bright then ever you could ask.
I live to give you rays of love, and warmth in which to bask.
*
It only takes an ember, a flicker, a tiny spark,
To set my lonely heart ablaze, and free us from this dark.
*
I want my heart to radiate, shine warmly on your face.
If you will only bring an ember, to this cold, dark, lonely place.
*
I hear the beating of your heart, I know you're somewhere near.
Will you never find me for the dark ? That is my primal fear.

--- Tell Me ---
~
The rope that we walk, is so razor thin.
Our hopes and fears we keep hidden within.
The tears of a man are shed deep inside.
Our pain and our hurt we all learn to hide.
~
We men do not nurture, don't know how to love,
Our cross of injustice from the man-Gods above.
Man-Gods in their robes who sit up on high,
They never see how our little ones cry.
~
They take our children, lay waste to our lives,
They turn it all over to spiteful ex-wives.
"It's all very legal !" they piously crow.
As also was slavery, not long ago !
~
Are legal and moral the same every time ?
Explain that, your "Honor" to this child of mine !
The irony here is so clearly insane,
That the system of courts is "Justice" by name.
~
Tell me your "Honor", how well do you sleep ?
I imagine you hear your son's every peep.
Do you hug your daughter, whenever she weeps ?
Tell me, your "Honor", How well do you sleep ?
