Because my thoughts were fears of death
My eyes brimming with gloom
The world was my own Heaven
Or so I would assume.
I locked the door so long ago
I think I have forgotten
The reason that I sought to hide
And now the past is rotting.
I recall fearing the night sky
I recall taking a chance
I recall the tears I couldn't cry
Yet I cannot recall who I am.
