Live life instead of a dying life,
but what can war do without strife?
Blessed and fortunate I am to be,
yet each day is but a mountain to me,
I am gentle and I hold laughter
lost after the silence in memories after,
as trembling I see my own hands
and realize my fading sense of reality.
The stars gleam brightly and cold,
as silent as memories scream but hold
those childhood dreams in place
while forsaking my own face;
the music dies, the starlight cries,
as it is struck down and dies.
I realize my fading sense of reality,
simple and yet agonizing pity
as trembling I see my own hands,
for it is so real, as I see the grasslands,
a land of no wars, a land of peace,
a land where time is no race,
as the sun is a rose burning
as o'er the land it rises returning.
The clouds flow ever so slow
their shadow rolls on the ground low,
a mountain grows higher in Paradise
without bottom, only rise;
the sight is obscured by a black cloud
that is a swarm swift and loud,
aloof the silvery clouds it floats
sriking nothing, yet making boasts,
striking fear as it comes closer to me
with minions ready to consume;
they lash out with death's dark rod,
consuming and leaving no blood.
I realize my fading sense of reality
as joy is burned in vanity;
as at the world I look
with mask lifeless and shook,
through eyes grayish-brown sad
in a face forsaken for a lad.

Nimrod...
If you look directly beneath the "Post a Reply" on the upper right corner of the screen, you will see "FAQ". Click on that, and you will find a tutorial on how to use html graphics, as well as the graphics that Ron has made available for copying and pasting on your postings... Have fun!
