Autumn Leaves

Death brings forth life in autumn leaves
They fall to the ground as the tree grieves
You're the tree
And I'm the ground
And I'll console you when you I've found.

And as the wind blows
Your tears flow
And I the ground will guide you down
To the deep roots of your long lost joy.
I know you can find the strength to stand.
And when you're down I will hold your hand.
As you cry your autumn leaves.

it is always so hard to lose someone, especially when it is unexpecteed or they are a younger person with more of their life ahead of them. We expect older folks to die, but when younger ones do, we take it harder it seems. Nice poem.
