I hold my eyes open
For as long as I can
Staring into the blazing sun
And beyond
My eyes burn now
Images of solar flames
Leap to and fro
The fire dances within itself
A patternless pattern
Swirling then flowing
Climbing then plunging
And I think to myself
This is passion
This is desire
This is what we all long for
To be cast into
That myriad of flames
Burning us beyond mere pain
And then laying us down
On a bed
Where we could sleep forever

I went back to archives 1

passion looks painful here... and, it is!
I like this.

Always, Alyssa

- And so it was that time stood still -
     (blink, breathe, stand, fight)

So many images went through my head. Passion and desire...how wonderful it is.
