An ancient mind reaches through darkness, fog and mist.
Searching,
Ravenous hunger;
Driving relentlessly.

Alone through the night she walks,
Stops.....looks behind.
Feeling eyes watching,
There's no one there.

Turning to continue,
He catches her as their encounter pushes her backward.
His eyes meet hers mystifying, hypnotizing.
She smiles.....blushing.

Those eyes seem to look clear into her soul,
Entrancing in midstep.
His icy touch, chill kiss,
The glint of moonlight reflected as his lips part and he feeds.

this poem made me want to bare my neck
