Rolling home boys, rolling home,
In three more days we'll be ashore,
A storm is brewing in the east boys,
So drink your rum boys, fight this whore.

Trim the sails, batten the hatches,
Don't let no water in the hold,
This ol'e whore is mean and evil,
So do boys, as your capt'n told.

Rolling home boys, rolling home,
Just two more days to be a-sea,
Eat your pork boys, keep it trim boys,
Don't let that whore best you today!

Hard to starboard mate! Hop to it,
Turn this bitch into the swell!
Forty feet of water 's coming,
Hear me good or go to hell!

Rolling home boys, rolling home,
Just one more day to be a-sea,
Don't go piss away our chance boys,
Be nimble boys, don't go to sleep!

Land ahoy boys, land ahoy.
We made it boys; we've come a-lee,
Get to shore boys, love that whore boys,
In three more days we're back to sea!

;-)

Pirates of the Ocean Blue (to continue this naval voyage)

We are pirates of the ocean blue
With the wind in our hair and the sun, it's there too
We sail for the gold that we think we are due
Yes we're pirates of the ocean blue

I've got a wife who's as big as a house
She was rude to me so I stripped off her blouse
And tied her to the prow, she is still there even now
To guide o'er the ocean blue

We are pirates of the ocean blue
With the wind in our hair and the sun, it's there too
We sail for the gold that we think we are due
Yes we're pirates of the ocean blue

Oh we rape and we pillage and we rape and we loot
It's not that we think it's a sin
It's just what we're best at as scoundrels and men
And as pirates of the ocean blue

We are pirates of the ocean blue
With the wind in our hair and the sun, it's there too
We sail for the gold that we think we are due
Yes we're pirates of the ocean blue

We will sail the seas till we run out of luck
But until then we'll travel the blue
And sink any ship that does come into view
For we're pirates of the ocean blue

We are pirates of the ocean blue
With the wind in our hair and the sun, it's there too
We sail for the gold that we think we are due
Yes we're pirates of the ocean blue

In keeping with the nautical theme:

There's a pirate in Pen's pants!
Run tell the uncles and aunts!
And he's plying her with liquor
to make the voyage quicker!
Shameful pirate in Pen's pants!

Run tell her mum and her old paw
Pen's seeing stuff they never saw!
For she was always such a goody
Now she sees that pirates woody!
Shameful pirate in Pen's pants!

That woody is his leg you see
what did you think it would be?
Shame on you - have another drink!
Calm yourself it's not what you think!
Shameful pirate in Pen's pants!

For they were wed by Captain Joe
Pen's his wife, not his wicked ho!
And when he sails, he'll take his chance
that no one else will be in Pen's pants!
Shamefule pirate in Pen's pants!

Do we have to drink it from the Vikings horn (you know the one on his helmet)...? Can I have a Viking diet Coke instead?

Geez, you guys! Incredible! I was ready to respond to Wolf and tell him how great this was and how I could hear a song of the sea and see a bunch of guys drinking cold brew at the bar and singing this... then I scroll down and Ali's got another, then the DeVine Miss and ... good grief! They're ALL really fun stuff! What a team!

Oh, btw, Wolf, I recently found your website and your paintings are wonderful! You are quite the talented guy.

very nice; easy to visualize as it was well written. the switches in meter are good (whether intentional or not) making each line or group of lines stand on their own.

I do think it's time for all of our new people to read some more of Wolfgang's work - He's one of our originals here at Passions - and he's exceptional..... Enjoy everyone...

You brought the seas back home, though you are gone now, and I wonder why?? I'll have to look up Captain Kidd in the encyclopedia when I go to the Library, or perhaps catch a preview of his biography online, then I can write one on him! A-hoy, you've made me feel at sea.
