It would be a great asset to Passions if there was an audio forum, that way we could reall hear, well... the passion of the poem. A lot of the time our poems aren't read the way we would like it to be read, or flowed the way we would've liked it to. Also, I'm sure there were some words in the poem that should have some sort of emphasis on it, but the reader wouldn't know that, because it's being read and not heard. So I think an audio poem would be a great way to express yourself and your poetry to higher levels. It doesn't have to be restricted to poetry only, people could post there own songs, or even do spoken word on it like def poetry jam. It would be a great source of entertainment, and it would also draw more members to the board... which is always a good thing. |

You can post your poem somewhere else as others do here, like Alicat, and Balladeer, and link us all to it, we will be so glad to hear you. some people don't have "skookum" pcs so it slows them dong a ton, and that is part of the reason we don't I believe anyway, out of consideration for people. I really don't think it is gonna happen here trust me, or at least I don't think so. Ron pulled the plug on my music backgrounds about about two years ago I think. One day I was just ...  Well here anyway.  |

Well, in the absence of pure audio, there is A/V for those with cameras and microphones. I'm sure there's some here and from other places who use LiveVideo and Youtube as upload spots for their creations. Speaking of which, I need to practice Little Red Hoodlum Head, The Smell of Rain, and Skeleton in the Closet for my next ones. Once you've forgotten how a work is supposed to sound, it can take a while to find the right voice for it.  |

That is a good idea. But I am not sure if Passions has the resources to be able to have an audio forum. |
