How about a forum with qoutations. Those great and lovely one or two sentence sayings that are or can be meaningful to so many. I have a few and I bet a lot of members do as well.

I don't really understand the lack of response to my suggestion. Quotations are opportunities to say so much with so few words. Whereas poetry today seems to be just the opposite.

Actually I dont that it is a lack of responses, but maybe in the wrong forum? I think maybe it might do better in a different fourm maybe the Pip Lounge? this forum is I think really set aside for "suggestions" for the site and or questions one may have...about passions, you could leave a little note in here for the wizard himself and see if he (ron) might move it for you....just a suggestion....

I think Lauren misunderstood the intent of your post, edh. If you wanted to start a new thread of quotations, or add to the one or two that are currently active, the pipTalk Lounge would be a good place. But if, as I read your post, you want to suggest a new forum set aside for quotations, this forum was and still is the correct place.

Such a forum is highly unlikely, for a lot of reasons, but mostly because repeating the words and thoughts of others isn't exactly our focus. There's certainly nothing wrong with quotations, as the many sites on the Internet who have taken that route prove, but we prefer to encourage endeavors of a slightly more creative nature.
