On another poetry forum I'd been frequenting for some time, a poetry game  was introduced called poetry ping pong... the way they handled it worked out really well and was fun as well as challenging. Unfortunately, posts on the site were kind of far and inbetween... I think it would work really well here
----------------------------------------------------
The way it works:
*whomever wants to participate signs up for the game so that a list can be made as to the order of posts
*a first poem is posted, and the next person on the list has to use the last line of the previous poem as the first line of their poem and so on
(it was reccomended that the last line be 3-4 words seems easier to work with)
*from there it kind of continues down the list with the next poet having 24 hours to respond before being skipped in that round
----------------------------------------------------
Well there you have it   Let me know what you think
