attacks on my beliefs are attacks on me
for what I believe is me
when I'm quiet I remain a mystery
when I voice my opinon I'm open for all to see
I follow a path but do not lead
I trust in the light which guides me
beyond the roots of my family tree
deeper than the deep blue sea
to a better understanding of you and me
just open your eyes and you can see
the divine ties that bind humanity
