I'm looking for a sign,
A message from the powers that be,
To tell me I'm doing it right,
This is what is meant for me.

I need that signal, that little talisman
In whatever form it may come,
To confirm for me this is your time of reflection,
Don't weaken, don't come undone.

For the last 6 months it seems,
I've been on that emotional merry go round,
Not knowing where I'm going,
Looking for something that perhaps can't be found.

This 'slog' goes on daily,
Sometimes I'm up, sometimes I'm down,
Does the world think of me as I think of myself,
Thinking I'm just a clown?

Each day I look for the sign that isn't there,
Some sign to show me it's coming,
An end to these tumultous emotions,
A renewed soul overbrimming with loving.

I know where you are coming from. I live there as well. The sign that I see is the fact I can pull myself up again. The cycle is about every 4-6 months for me. i will be fine for that long and then for a few days or a week I am lonely and miserable. Do the why me and when is it going to change. I always am able to pull myself out of it. Concentrate on living...Concentrate on giving. Lean on the love of you. My muse for "A Life Lesson" is this situation.

P.S. I have read your work and you are accomplished. i have a favor to ask. My work "Untitled (suggestions PLEASE) would you read it and give me some advice technically. This work I want perfect. Thanks.

Obviously, you are doing something right because you are looking for pupose in your life. Most people don't have the sense to reflect on themselves.
