What We've Become

We aren't what we used to be now.
We've altered and changed some how.
We began as no more than friends, and we've become no less than lovers.
What we've become is a total mistake.
One I never in my life thought I could make.
But I will always love you.

Very well done, Lynn. Short and to the point and 'says it all'.

I like this, but is it a bad thing to fall in love with a friend? Not sure as I've never done it!

Great poem......
I fell in love with a friend of mine...
wasn't a bad experience for me, but I'm sure its different for every person.
