Leaving you Behind

I知 leaving you behind,
As the light gives way to the night.
I知 leaving you behind,
As your image slips from my sight.

I知 leaving you behind,
As our children move away,
I知 leaving you behind,
As my life is in disarray.

I知 leaving you behind,
As I begin my lonely life.
I知 leaving you behind,
As no longer to have a wife.

I知 leaving you behind,
As with your heart I played a game.
I知 leaving you behind,
As I realize now, I知 the one to blame.

I知 leaving you behind,
As I need some time to grow.
I知 leaving you behind,
As I値l always love you, I hope you know.

it's so hard when we have to leave someone we love, especially when knowing we are the one to blame....sad and nicely written Roger.......

What a sad poem...
So many marriages end and
blame each other; I have
admiration for someone that
can take responsiblity for
their mistakes, for this
is how we learn and move foward.
WELCOME TO PASSIONS!
I look foward to seeing more of your work.

This is so sad but so beautiful.... and I'm sorry but please don't blame yourself for everything! It takes two to walk down that road. Believe in yourself!

How sad, but well written. Welcome to passions, looking forward to more

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints in our heart and we are never ever the same.

Thank you all for leaving footprints!!
