And
Just around the corner
Lying in the street
dead,
with baby seat broken
on its side
a supermarket basket,
killed by the wind

(This is your brain........this is your brain on drugs.....

see above)

Please do not wait for me to mourn
For I have all too often borne
The great expense of painting scratches
With paint that rarely ever matches
The original color of my car.
Those darn carts shouldn't roll so far!

Great poem, Toe!!! The buggy may be my friend... but I hold grudges! *G*

ok, I am embarrased! As I was off doing other things, it hit me. Maybe it was the drugs I did years ago! lol All of a sudden this just clicked, and I understood! Or maybe you're in rare form today and making my brain think too hard! heheh....Actually quite a good little message you left there!

Drinking a few to many of those Fosters are we
Actually, it takes talent to write about shopping carts...perhaps you'll create a new line of poetry for Shopping Market ads...never know. This is a thought provoking piece.

Shopped til it dropped?... from cart-iac arrest???

Geesh - *slapping self* - I should really give Toe a serious response here.....

Nah - On second thought - Should we try cart-iac resuscitation??..
