Written by Echo Rhayne...submitted by Jay_Jay

I was lifted up on Angel wings
and on Angel wings I fly
up to my heavenly home
with Jesus...in the sky

I'll receive those precious gifts
he promised me so free
from my Lord, Jesus christ
who gave His life for me

I'll rejoice with song
to Him forever more
as I enter His kingdom
through Heaven's door

And with my grateful heart
while down on bended knee
my soul will sing
with wonderous praise for thee

I'll walk along Heaven
on those beautiful streets of gold
forever to worship,
love, and behold

The mercy of His glory
and of His saving grace
and the life of love
and freedom upon His face

How grand this journey
will surely be
'cause Jesus gave His life
because of His love for me

My heart will sing forever
even when I die
for I will be lifted up on Angel wings
and on Angel wings I fly!

Jay Jay, do you think that Echo would allow me to send this poem to a Christian site that I visit alot. They allow us to post poems and such and would love to share this with them. Of course all credit would be hers. Please email me and let me know

Echo, this is a beautiful poem ... it rings with hope and joy and salvation ...

It reminds me of something a very wise man told me once, when he was teaching a Bible study about self-worth. After passing around a ring he was wearing, he asked each of us what we thought it was worth.

We each gave our guesses, after which he revealed that the ring was worth $44.76, because that was what he paid for it. Simple, right? But consider how much you are worth: what price did Jesus pay for you?

If you remember nothing else, remember that the most precious thing you have is YOU!

I wish you peace,

Nocht

Jay Jay you know what? You should print this out the rest of them that you give her. Remind her of these beautiful words she wrote! I really love this one! I am awed!
I love God too, and I started with spiritual poetry.

WhtDove, I think that is a great idea, I think I will do just that! I read your poetry challenge and I went searching right away for this poem she wrote. It touched me dearly when I read it, and I hoped that it would touch others, but you are right, I think she should read her own words too!
To the others who posted a message to this poem, thank you and I will be sure Echo reads your wonderful replies! God bless!
