( I actually wrote this about six months ago for my sister and her fiance who meet online and are being married in May, but I'd like to post it here today for a certain knight I know who's taught me that chilvary truly lives on...Tyson, this is for you )

Chivalry...Reborn

Chivalry is dead, or at least that’s what they say;
But I met my knight in shining armor just the other day.

His steed was a computer, a pen it was his sword;
And he stole his way into my heart with just a simple word.

His battle ground the internet, his armor made of steel;
But he taught me how to love again, taught me how to feel.

No castle on a hill had he, surrounded by a moat;
Though riches more than money could buy were found in what he wrote.

His words they touched me in many ways, impossible I thought.
He rescued me fair maiden there, my doubts and fears he fought.

He wrote my soul ,my heart, my thoughts in every single word.
And from his pen his feelings deep and thoughts of love just poured.

His love he gave me graciously, with tender loving care;
He the knight in shinning armor and I the maiden fair.

Chivalry is dead, or at least that’s what they say;
But I met my knight in shining armor just the other day.

Hoot,
I have always said that chivalry isn't dead, just on life support. Thank you for this piece.
