I looked into the windows of your soul today.
I saw your fear my love would fade away.
No matter the times I talk and try to reassure
that my love for you sweetheart is deep and pure.

You continue to hold this fear you have so close to you
a barrier you hold up against me hurting you.
After all this time my love, do you not realize?
Or see the love I have for you within my eyes?

Forever you hide behind this wall your building.
Perhaps it just your way to stop the feeling.
But you should know no matter what you do
that I could never see myself not loving you.

For you are the other half that makes me whole
the life long awaited mate to my inner soul.
There is no other that could take my love from you
so let down your guard and let yourself love me too.

Lucie you did well with your verse but even better with your dealing with the current situation. Proud of you I am.

Beautiful entreaty Lucie. :-)

A lovely sentiment, Lucie.
Love has a way of breaking down barriers, hang in there...
