My Angel Shall Return (PLEASE READ & RESPOND)

I sit peacefully on a group of
rocks at the edge of the water.
The waves rush in and hit me at
the waist.
A mist is sprayed upon my face,
causing water droplets to run off
of my nose.
I hear a voice echo across the
water, but no one appears to be
there.
I hear it again and recognize it,
but it couldn't be possible.
"Is that you?" I ask in a calm and
low voice, afraid of an answer.
"It is I," a voice says behind me.
I turn and see him. The one who
left me long ago.
Tears begin to roll down my face
and hit the water when they fall.
He touches my cheek with only a
finger and tells me all is fine.
I cannot stop crying. so many
years have past, but he appears
the same.
Soon the waters turn still and he
begins to talk in a serious tone.
"It has been long since you have
seen me, and I cannot stay for
long.
I am needed else where very soon.
Do not worry though.
I am your angel and I shall return
soon."
After those words, he disappeared
and I was left alone, but I always
hear his voice in the waves.

Welcome to passions Lynn, and thank you for the story. It is wonderful to remember that our loved ones are always with us!

Thanks...It is wonderul to remember all of our loved ones who are no longer with us. As long as they are still in our hearts, they are still alive....
