The heart of this poet…

If I were to say that I live
to write poems
it would be a lie
but if I were to say that
poems live in me
and are written from my heart
it would be only fact

If I were to say I was blown away
by your touch
it would be a lie
for I would have to say instead
that by your touch
I was made whole

If I were to say only
that I need you
it would be lie
for I miss you at least as much…
and want you
even more…

ILoveit

If I were to say how much I care, you'd trust in the knowledge that I do!

Don't even ask where that came from...somewhere deep inside...

hoot, Nan, Chris thanks glad you liked

Balladeer, thanks, and I know that's why I chose that name, it describes a love for life, and so very well describes how we feel about a good poem!, so thanks again for the compliment

thanks JTF, am pretty fond of your heart too!
